Core Architecture of WireGuard
Qingfeng Accelerator has constructed a new routing engine based on the WireGuard protocol. WireGuard implements complete accelerator functionality with approximately 4000 lines of code, while traditional IPsec requires over 600,000 lines. The more streamlined code means a smaller attack surface and lower latency, achieving higher throughput. In our internal tests, the handshake speed of WireGuard is 3 times faster than IKEv2 and 8 times faster than IPsec.
Noise Protocol Framework Encryption
Qingfeng Accelerator’s WireGuard implementation utilizes the Noise protocol framework for key exchange, using Curve25519 for ECDH key agreement, ChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s for hashing operations. This combination of cryptographic primitives has been widely validated in academia and industry, providing forward-looking security against quantum computing attacks.
